A one day workshop on "Role of Clinical Pharmacist in Cancer Care - An overview" in association with Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital and Research Center was formally inaugurated on 13th April 2018. In the gracious presence of Prof. Prakash Mallya - Director, CPPA, Dr. Amit Kumar Das, KCP, Dr. Kishore Murthy - Academic Director,SSCHRC, Dr. Swetha Srivatsa - Clinical Pharmacologist, SSCHRC, faculty members of KCP and PharmD students attended the function. The program included an overview on cancer and principles of chemotherapy with role of clinical pharmacist in Cancer care taken by Dr. Shweta. The next session on Overview on Breast Cancer was taken by Dr. Sandhya and last session included practical case presentation by interns.
