KrupaPharmaCon 2018 Inaugural Function
An International Conference on Drug Development and Clinical Research: Current Scenario & Opportunities held at Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy, Bangalore on 12 & 13 October 2018.
The inaugural session commenced from 9:30 am onwards. The college choir set the ambience for the session with their prayer song followed by lighting of the lamp by dignitaries. Dr. Sam Paul Isaac, Campus Director, KGI gave the welcome address to vivify the gathering.
Dr. B Suresh, President Pharmacy Council of India & Vice Chancellor JSS University, Mysuru graced the occasion as Chief Guest. In his address Dr. Suresh reiterated the importance of aspiring and setting higher goals for professional Development. He lauded the Krupanidhi Group of Institutions for offering innovative course like PG Diploma in Healthcare Analytics. He was all praise for the organizing committee of KrupaPharmaCon 2018 for being able to pull up an event of this cadre with the best resource persons. Post his inaugural speech, Dr. B Suresh was felicitated by Prof. Dr. Suresh Nagpal, Chairman, Krupanidhi Group of Institutions.
Next, Prof. James F Jordan, keynote speaker for the conference addressed the gathering post which Prof. James and Mr. Sridharan, key note speaker were honored by Prof. Dr. Suresh Nagpal and Dr. M D Karvekar respectively.
Up next was the much awaited Presidential Speech by Professor Suresh Nagpal, Chairman, Krupanidhi Group of Institutions. He congratulated Dr. B Suresh for his visionary leadership of PCI and elaborated the need for creating newer courses to meet the industry requirements, and congratulated Profs. Jordan and Mr. Sridharan for the launch of PG diploma in Health Care analytics course. Dr. Nagpal also enunciated that the vision of KrupaPharmaCon was to create meaningful engagement with Clinical Trials industry and to offer a learning opportunity to aspirants as well seasoned professionals.
Post his speech, Prof. Suresh Nagpal was honored by Dr. B Suresh as a token for his visionary leadership in field of education.
The session concluded with vote of thanks by Dr. Amit Kumar Das, Principal, Krupanidhi College of Pharmacy.
KrupaPharmaCon 2018 - Valedictory Function
The two day conference culminated into valedictory function which was graced by the presence of all the panel members from second day along with Prof. James F Jordan, Mr. K Sridharan and Dr. Sam Paul Issac. It was a short session where the Best posters were awarded with a certificate of merit and a cash rewards in all the five categories. Prof. Rajeswari R proposed the vote of thanks as convener of the conference and the gathering dispersed for high tea as they bid adieu to each other until they meet again at KrupaPharmaCon 2019.
